Project Commissioning Day 4: Kosofe LG Council Boss Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe Commissions 10 Fully Equipped Classrooms at Mosafejo Primary School to Commemorate Administration's 3rd Anniversary with Week-long Project Commissioning

Ikosi Isheri APC Members Stands United: Enthusiastic Backing for Mayoress Bada at LGA Meeting

  The Ikosi Isheri APC LGA meeting, presided over by the LGA Chairman, Alh Alli Olatubosun, was held 18th of July 2024, today at the temporary party secretariat (Ikosi Isheri Council Secretariat). Senate Passes Nigeria Insurance Industry Reform Bill, 2024 For Second Reading

  The Nigeria Insurance Industry Reform Bill, 2024 (SB 393), sponsored by the Chairman, Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions, *Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA (Lagos East), and 41 other Senators, passed second reading at the Senate on Thursday.  Senator Abiru, in his lead debate, addressed the Senate on the general principles of the bill that seeks to provide a comprehensive legal framework for the regulation and supervision of all manner of insurance businesses in Nigeria. Speaking on the bill, Senator Abiru decried the low penetration of insurance services in Nigeria, despite being one of the oldest industries in the nation’s financial services sector. Mayoress Samiat Bada Extends Immediate Relief and Support to Bereaved Mother of Joshua, Primary Six Pupil Who Was Lost Tragically to Flood

The Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, paid a heartfelt visit to Joshua's mother, a local fruit seller, following the tragic incident that claimed the life of Joshua, a primary six pupil swept away by flood in the Ikosi, Ketu area of Lagos State. The purpose of the visit was to express her deepest condolences and provide immediate support to the bereaved family. During the visit, Princess Samiat Bada conveyed her sorrow over the untimely death of Joshua. She reassured Joshua’s mother that the local government shares in her grief and is committed to preventing such tragedies in the future. "Joshua's death is a profound loss to our community. No parent should have to endure the pain of losing a child, especially under such tragic circumstances," she stated. Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada was born on December 28, 1973, to the late Alhaji Olatunji Raheem Bada and Chief Mrs. Afolakemi Bada (JP). She attended: - Moslem Primary School, Odogbolu - Odogbolu Grammar School - Ajao Estate High School, Anthony Village, Lagos - Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University) for her diploma in Marketing - Lagos State University, Ojo, for her (link unavailable) honors in Geography and Planning - PGD in Social Works (2012/2013) and Master's in Social Works (2017/2018) She worked briefly at the Town Planning Office, Kosofe Local Government, and later enrolled at Gateway Catering Institute. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish Predema Catering and Boutique Services, providing exceptional services in catering and hotel management. Princess Bada's passion for politics led her to join the Alliance for Democracy (AD), which later transformed into the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and eventually the All Progressives Congress (APC)
