Lagos East Residents Applauds The#DoingGood Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru's Remarkable Food Packs Initiative for Vulnerable Communities

  The Chairman, Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA on Saturday distributed over 6,000 Food Packs to vulnerable members of the society in the Lagos East Senatorial District. It will be recalled that the Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District launched the quarterly Food Packs Programme in June, 2023. This is the second edition of the well applauded programme targeted at vulnerable people, namely; widows, unemployed youth, aged,women and People living with disabilities are drawn across the 98 wards in the 16 Local Government  Areas and Local Council Development areas of the district.  GT Waterline, a prominent commercial ferry operator, is poised to introduce an efficient water transport system in Lagos, specifically targeting the residents of Shomolu, Kosofe, Lagos Mainland, Lagos Island, and nearby areas.
