APC YOUTH LEADER IKOSI ISHERI LCDA HON AHMED IDOWU IN COLLABORATION WITH OTHER YOUTH STAKEHOLDERS SENSITIZED IKOSI ISHERI YOUTHS ON THEIR ROLES TOWARD THE VICTORY OF APC IN THE UPCOMING 2023 GENERAL ELECTION


 








The APC LGA youth leader of Ikosi Isheri Hon Ahmed Idowu during the Youth meeting held at Ikosi Isheri LCDA Council Secretariat on Sunday 9th of October, 2022 addressed the youths on their roles toward the success of our party in the upcoming election.

In his remark, Hon Ahmed Idowu recognize the presence of some prominent youth stakeholders present at the meeting most especially the past and present political office holders, ward youth leaders and their assistant, and some representative of other youth groups in attendance.

He also reassure them on the Mayoress of Ikosi Isheri LCDA monthy financial empowerment promise to the youth, which he said is still very much intact and will come in due time, so he therefore advise  the youths on the importance of being loyal to the party,

Hon Ahmed also informed them about some ethnic groups in Lagos State such as South South, Ndigbo Group, Arewa group etc that have adopted ASIWAJU Bola Ahmed TINUBU as their only Presidential Candidate in 2023.

In his statement, he gave the Report of his meeting  with the Distinguish Senator Representing Lagos East Senatorial District Sen Tokunbo Abiru in conjunction with other youth leader in Lagos East Senatorial District, in which they requested for more job opportunities for the youth, though the senator said hundreds of youth are presently on his monthly financial empowerment scheme, some are enrolled in senator Abiru innovation lab( SAIL), and also promise to do more than  the request in the upcoming opportunities to the senators constituencies.

The youth leader appreciate all the youth present at the recently concluded Ikosi Isheri Ketu Magodo Annual Cultural Carnival, and also use the medium to appreciate the Mayoress of Ikosi Isheri LCDA for the good initiative that helps to promote our Cultural and traditional institution.

He therefore use the medium to warn all APC youths or Members who engaged in any forms of Anti party activities especially the one at 6 fapohunda street Ketu to deceit because the leadership of our party has nothing to do with such gathering and our party Candidates are Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President, Babajide Sanwo-Olu Leekansi, Tokunbo Abiru for Senate, Kafilat Ogbara for Kosofe Federal House of Representative, and FEMI SAHEED for Lagos Assembly Kosofe Constituency 2.

At the Meeting, Hon Joseph Olaiya reminds the youth on the submission of 15 polling unit Committee names, for those members from the wards that have not completed their name submission, he thereafter commends the youths in ward C and ward G for their efforts toward the exercise. Also he suggested that the LGA youth leader should create an employment register so that the political office holders can know the employment or vocational status of Ikosi Isheri LCDA youths.

A member from Ward C Mr Salaudeen Taiwo advised that youths in Ikosi Isheri LCDA should be friendly and not too hash to their our opposition, because there's probability that  they can still gain their vote by showing a positive character with them and this idea was also buttressed by Mr Fatai Olonode.

Comr Mudashiru Ismaila Alabi who also attended the meeting, advised that youths should focus more on their Candidates marketing techniques.

WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State. She attended Adrao International School in Victoria Island and Federal Home Science PSchool Ikoyi, Lagos respectively. Her Secondary School Education was at Federal Government Girls College Langtang, Plateau State. Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Distributes Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's Food Palliatives to Ikosi Isheri Residents
