If you are using any of the listed phones below, you might not be able to access WhatsApp on it from November 1, 2021


 WhatsApp will reportedly stop working on some smartphones from November 1. Facebook, the parenting company of the messaging app, announced last month to end WhatsApp services from select devices. The reason for terminating services on these smartphones is that WhatsApp will no longer support old versions of Android and iOS to ensure that the app's security and users' privacy are maintained. According to WhatsApp, users with smartphones that support Android OS 4.1 and iOS 10 and subsequent versions will run without any problem. However, those using smartphones with old operating systems are all set to run out of access to WhatsApp.

WhatsApp users can also go to the WhatsApp FAQ section to check the list of operating systems that are not able to run WhatsApp from November 1, 2021. These operating systems include Android 4.0.3, iOS 9 and KaiOS 2.5.0. Some smartphones include Samsung, LG, ZTE, Huawei, Sony, Alcatel and other devices. If you're not aware of which Android version is running on your smartphone, you can go to smartphone settings. You can check the Android version in the Settings section.
