MAYORESS OF IKOSI ISHERI LCDA, HOLDS WORLD PRESS CONFERENCE TOWARDS 2021 IKOSI-ISHERI MAGODO ANNUAL CULTURAL CARNIVAL

 MAYORESS ADDRESSED THE PRESS ON THE UPCOMING IKOSI ISHERI MAGODO CULTURAL FESTIVAL

The two-day cultural event slated for May 13th and 14th at the CMD open field was today made public to the men of the Press.

Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada in her speech stressed that the event with the theme: Our Unity, Our Strength; organized in conjuction with Top Consumers Brand and Ikosi Isheri LCDA is to promote Tourism and Entertainment in line with the Lagos state THEMES agenda.

She said the event is also an avenue to encourage youths to see entertainment and tourism as a viable tool to be financially free and to keep them busy from all social vices.

The coordinator of the program and the MD of Top Consumers Brand, Mrs. Modupe Oyewole, thanked the MAYORESS for her total support of the event.

Present at the event were Professor Rasak Ojo Bakare, the first Professor of Dance in Africa and the commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Ekiti state, Representative of the special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwoolu on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Nike, Professor Tunji Sotimirin, Majority leader ikosi isheri - Hon. Yinusa Salami, Celebrities and some Exco members of ikosi isheri LCDA.

WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State. She attended Adrao International School in Victoria Island and Federal Home Science PSchool Ikoyi, Lagos respectively. Her Secondary School Education was at Federal Government Girls College Langtang, Plateau State. A graduate of English Language and Literature from the University of Lagos, she also acquired her Masters Degree in International Law and Diplomacy and another Masters Degree in Public Administration all from the University of Lagos. Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara started her career in Property and Facility Management in the Family Business. Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Distributes Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's Food Palliatives to Ikosi Isheri Residents

In a heartening display of solidarity and support, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's food palliatives were distributed to the residents of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) today. The distribution, orchestrated by the Mayoress and her team, exemplifies the Lagos State Government's dedication to alleviating the challenges faced by its citizens during these unprecedented times. The food palliatives, comprising over 5,000 crates of eggs, bread, yams, and various other essential items, were distributed to party faithfuls and residents across Ikosi Isheri LCDA.
