Today marks a significant occasion designated by the United Nations, resonating across the globe to honor and celebrate the dynamic energy of our youth.

The potential of our youths is a double-edged sword, capable of forging positive development and catalyzing generational transformations. Yet, it's imperative for each young individual to introspect and ask themselves: What principles have I championed?

Comprising the largest demographic in our nation, the youth play an indispensable role in propelling our progress forward. I earnestly entreat our cherished youths to resist being ensnared by societal pitfalls and the destabilizing forces that seek to exploit them.

To the youth of Ikosi-isheri LCDA, I extend a fervent plea to stand as beacons for growth, champions of development, proponents of good governance, and advocates for justice, equity, peace, unity, love, and patriotism.

True to the pledges made during our electoral campaign and consistently demonstrated in practice, youth affairs remain a paramount concern close to our hearts.
