6000 Bags of Food Palliative: Mayoress Shares love with Indigent residents of Ikosi Isheri communities.

As a custodian of the mandate of the lovely people of Ikosi Isheri LCDA whose heart is where her community is, the Mayoress of Ikosi Isheri LCDA Princess SAMIAT ABOLANLE BADA remodelled her monthly food palliative (combo of Rice, beans, and Garri) to the indigent residents of the LCDA.

She has increased the number of her monthly food palliative to the indigent members of community to 6000 packs for the month of August 2023, and also promised to come up with something superb that no one has think about in the coming months. 

According to her, we are brought this palliative to your door step as a way to reduce the stress of coming to pick it up in our usual collection point (council secretariat), due to increase in transport fare as a result of the subsidy removal nationwide. 

The Mayoress was in company of the Commissioner Nominee Lagos State Engr Gbenga Omotosho, and the CEO of Kokun Foundation Chief Olukokun Adepeju both of whom where very  excited about the kind gesture and concern the mayoress has for her community.

Engr Gbenga Omotosho during the palliatives distribution extends his gratitude to the people's mayoress for creating an innovative ways of distribution of the food palliative especially now that the whole citizens are struggling with the effects of the fuel subsidy removal, and also commend the residents for their support, patience, and cooperation with the government during this period. 

Chief Olukokun Adepeju also added that he was happy that Ikosi Isheri LCDA was blessed with a leader that recognized the need to care for  the  citizen who have entrusted her with their mandate, and those who face unique struggles in our society. 

 The distribution started from MAGODO Playground in Ward B, through Orisha community in Ward A, down to Araromi Community in Ward C , and to Akinpelumi Junction in ward D, the remaining 3 wards will be covered tomorrow Friday 18th of August 2023.

WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State. She attended Adrao International School in Victoria Island and Federal Home Science PSchool Ikoyi, Lagos respectively. Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Distributes Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's Food Palliatives to Ikosi Isheri Residents

In a heartening display of solidarity and support, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's food palliatives were distributed to the residents of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) today. The distribution, orchestrated by the Mayoress and her team, exemplifies the Lagos State Government's dedication to alleviating the challenges faced by its citizens during these unprecedented times. The food palliatives, comprising over 5,000 crates of eggs, bread, yams, and various other essential items, were distributed to party faithfuls and residents across Ikosi Isheri LCDA.
