OGUNLEWE SET TO LAUNCH FREE SHUTTLE BUSES INITIATIVE IN KOSOFE LG



As part of efforts to cushion the socioeconomic hardship occasion by the removal of fuel subsidy, the Executive Chairman, Kosofe local government, Hon. Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe is set to launch free shuttle buses for the residents of kosofe local government Area.

The buses which would ply all the important areas in the council, namely Ojota, Ogudu, Oworonshoki, Maryland and Mende  are to give succour to the good people of Kosofe, especially in the difficult period.

In response to the socioeconomic challenges brought about by the removal of fuel subsidies, Hon. Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe, the Executive Chairman of Kosofe local government, is initiating a vital relief program. This initiative aims to alleviate the hardships faced by the residents of Kosofe local government Area. One of the cornerstone aspects of this program is the introduction of free shuttle buses that will serve the diverse and crucial areas within the council, including Ojota, Ogudu, Oworonshoki, Maryland, and Mende. The provision of these free shuttle services is designed to provide essential support to the resilient people of Kosofe during these challenging times.

According to Comrade Taiwo Fadipe, who is the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman, we have underlined the significance of this initiative. The launch of these shuttle buses reflects a commitment to the welfare of the community, offering much-needed relief to the residents. By extending access to free transportation across key areas, the local government aims to ease the burden on its people, particularly during these trying times. 

This initiative underscores the dedication of Hon. Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe and the local government to prioritize the well-being of the Kosofe community.

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State.
