The Executive Chairman of Ikosi Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, fondly referred to as the "Mayoress," orchestrated the September Edition of her monthly free food palliative distribution event that usually brought hope and relief to widows, aged, and various indigent residents across the Local Council Development Area (LCDA). This remarkable initiative coincided with a period of heightened economic hardship due to the removal of the fuel subsidy, making it even more impactful for the local community.

The event was met with an overwhelming display of joy and gratitude from the beneficiaries who found solace in the kind gesture of the Mayoress during these challenging times. Their expressions of gratitude resonated throughout the LCDA, reflecting the Mayoress's commitment to the welfare of her constituents.

Notably, among the communities benefiting from this noble initiative were the displaced occupants of the dilapidated Agboye Estate building on Oduntan Street, Ketu, Ikosi, and other residents of the same street. The inclusion of these vulnerable groups underscores the LCDA's dedication to leaving no one behind and addressing the needs of those most affected by adverse circumstances.

In addition to the food palliative distribution, the Mayoress seized the opportunity to conduct an official inspection of the Idera Primary Health Center (PHC) located in Ajegunle. This inspection served the dual purpose of evaluating the current state of the facility and enhancing the quality of public health services available in the local community. By ensuring the maintenance and improvement of healthcare infrastructure, the LCDA aims to provide accessible and reliable healthcare services to its residents.

The monthly free food palliative distribution event organized by theo Mayoress of Ikosi Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, not only brought joy to the hearts of widows, the aged, and indigent residents but also highlighted the LCDA's commitment to the well-being and health of its constituents. This compassionate initiative which  demonstrates the LCDA's dedication to mitigating the challenges posed by economic hardships and its resolve to build a stronger, more resilient community was witnessed by several leaders of the party, stakeholders in the community, executive, legislative, and management members of the LCDA, and many others who are passionate service to humanity
