Mayoress Inspect the ongoing Mile 12 Modern Market Construction Site

As a custodian of the people's mandate whose heart is where her community is, the Mayoress of Ikosi Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, today, conducted an official inspection visit to the ongoing construction site of the Mile 12 Modern Market. The purpose of the visit was to assess the progress of the construction project, interact with traders, and provide assurances and guidance for a successful completion.

During her visit, The Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada addressed the traders and emphasized the importance of their cooperation with the contractors to ensure the successful completion of the modern market. She assured the traders that all legitimate shop owners would be granted allocations once the project reaches its conclusion. This commitment from the Mayoress was met with applause and appreciation from the traders.

In company of the Mayoress, is Rt Hon Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, a former member of the Federal House of Representatives from Rano/Bunkure/Kibiya Federal Constituency, Kano State, who's also a major stakeholder in the Mile 12 Community, he   addressed the traders, appealed to them to remain peaceful and rest assured that all promises made by the Mayoress would be fulfilled. His words of encouragement and support further strengthened the confidence of the traders in the ongoing project.

Several key figures and stakeholders were present during the inspection. These included:

- Chairman of the Mile 12 International Market, Alh Shehu Usman Sampam, who was on ground with all market executives and board members.

- Alh Dandama Yabo, who was ably represented.

- Iyaloja General of Ikosi Isheri Alhaja Iyabo Ahmed ably represented.

- Legislative team of Ikosi Isheri LCDA led by Hon Yunusa Salami

- APC Ikosi Isheri LGA Chairman Alh Ali Olatubosun

- Management team led by the Council Manager Mrs Mercy Adeyemi 

- All sectional heads of the market union, who actively participated in the inspection.

- Chief Mrs. Modupe Ojo, among other prominent individuals.

The presence of these distinguished personalities emphasized the significance of the Mile 12 Modern Market project to the local community.

WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State. She attended Adrao International School in Victoria Island and Federal Home Science PSchool Ikoyi, Lagos respectively.   Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada was born into the blessed family of the late Alhaji Olatunji Raheem Bada and the late Chief Mrs. Afolakemi Bada (JP) in Odogbolu, Ogun State, on December 28th, 1973. She attended Muslim Primary School in Odogbolu, followed by Odogbolu Grammar School, and completed her education at Ajao Estate High School in Anthony Village, Lagos.
