Official Report: Presentation of the Year 2024 Budget of Optimization for Sustainable Development to the Legislative Arms of Ikosi Isheri LCDA by Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada














 


November 2023 was a special month in Ikosi Isheri LCDA as the Executive arm initiated preparation for year 2024 budget. The process began with a stakeholders' consultative forum, involving presentation and defense of budget estimates by various Departments and Agencies in Ikosi Isheri LCDA.

The Proposed budget, Total=                            N4,130,140,170.09 was presented to the legislative arm today 28th of November 2023 by the Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, tagged Budget of Optimization for Sustainable Development, after which the Mayoress itemised the project executed by her administration in the last budget year.

The presentation held at the legislative chamber, included key attendees such as Secretary to the LGA Hon Kola Omotayo, who led other Executive members, APC Ikosi Isheri LCDA Stakeholders, led by the LGA Vice chairman Chairman Hon Shakiru Balogun, and the Management team, headed by Council Manager Mrs Mercy Adeyemi, were also present

The leader of the legislative arms Hon Yunusa Kolawole Salami affirmed the commitment of members to thoroughly review and consider the proposed budget. He assured Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada of their support in approving programs/projects aligned with the sustainable development goals outlined in the budget.

This collaborative effort showcased unity of purpose among government arms and stakeholders in realizing the initiatives outlined in the Year 2024 Budget of Optimization for Sustainable Development.

The Mayoress expressed gratitude for the support and reiterated her commitment to working closely with the legislative arms and stakeholders for progress in Ikosi Isheri LCDA. The presentation marked a significant step toward achieving the LCDA's developmental goals in the coming fiscal year.

  Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada was born into the blessed family of the late Alhaji Olatunji Raheem Bada and the late Chief Mrs. Afolakemi Bada (JP) in Odogbolu, Ogun State, on December 28th, 1973. She attended Muslim Primary School in Odogbolu, followed by Odogbolu Grammar School, and completed her education at Ajao Estate High School in Anthony Village, Lagos. Charity Twumasi Ankrah in an interview with KMJ on Prime Morning Tuesday explained that breast-sucking is a major way to help curb breast cancer in women. According to her, it is very important for a woman’s breasts to be sucked as it keeps the breast healthier. “Breastfeeding your baby is very important as a woman.
