Ojodu LCDA's 2024 Budget Stakeholders Forum: A Model of Inclusive Governance and Civic Engagement

The Ojodu LCDA, under the leadership of Hon Segun David Odunmbaku, exemplifies its commitment to inclusive governance by hosting the 2024 Budget Stakeholders Forum at the Council Secretariat in Oke-Ira Ogba. This forum serves as a vital platform for open dialogue between the government and the community, aiming to present a transparent account of governance's accomplishments and gather valuable input from the people for the upcoming budget year.

*Hon Segun David Odunmbaku* expressed gratitude to the residents of Ojodu LCDA for their unwavering support, highlighting the significance of engaging stakeholders to build trust, credibility, and encourage citizen participation. He used the occasion to provide an overview of his administration's achievements in areas such as Health, Education, Youth and Women Development, Social and Infrastructural Development, which collectively form the H.E.Y.S Agenda. Furthermore, he pledged to allocate resources to initiatives that directly benefit the community.

The forum allowed for active participation from stakeholders, who contributed their suggestions and ideas. Mayor Odunmbaku assured the attendees of his administration's commitment to integrating their inputs into the budgetary process. Present at this event were the Vice President, Executive Council, Legislators, Management Team, Party Leaders, Traditional Rulers, CDA and CDC Executives, as well as representatives from Religious, Security, and Youth Organizations.

This collaborative engagement between government and the community underscores the dedication to transparency and responsiveness, fostering a stronger sense of partnership and mutual accountability in the pursuit of a better Ojodu.

Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Distributes Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's Food Palliatives to Ikosi Isheri Residents

In a heartening display of solidarity and support, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's food palliatives were distributed to the residents of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) today. The distribution, orchestrated by the Mayoress and her team, exemplifies the Lagos State Government's dedication to alleviating the challenges faced by its citizens during these unprecedented times. WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State. She attended Adrao International School in Victoria Island and Federal Home Science PSchool Ikoyi, Lagos respectively. Her Secondary School Education was at Federal Government Girls College Langtang, Plateau State.
