The Ikosi Isheri LCDA Year 2024 Budget Retreat, held at Osmak Hotel and Suites, Akala Express, Ibadan, Oyo state was a huge success. 

Theme: Budget of Optimization for Sustainable Development.


The Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, in her welcoming address, underscored the LCDA's resolute commitment to maximize resources, embodying a proactive and forward-looking governance approach.

She urged participants to remain focused on the collective goal of strengthening the budget for sustainable development.

Emphasizing the importance of decisions made during the retreat, the Mayoress said, together, the community could formulate a budget that maximizes resources for the benefit of all residents.

In addition, she reassured the participants that all valuable contributions made during the retreat would be translated into actionable initiatives, emphasizing the practical implementation of decisions to drive tangible impact.

The guest lecturer Dr. Badejo Olusoga, enriched the discussions by sharing insights into effective budgetary strategies conducive to achieving sustainable development goals. His expertise added depth to the discourse, aligning with the LCDA's vision for a more optimized and sustainable future

The two-day retreat saw the active participation of the council's Executive team, Legislative, Management, and various stakeholders, reflecting a collaborative effort to shape the future trajectory of Ikosi Isheri towards sustainable development and resource optimization.

WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State. She attended Adrao International School in Victoria Island and Federal Home Science PSchool Ikoyi, Lagos respectively.
