In the closing fixture of the NWFL Group B for the year 2023, all eyes turn to Akure Township Stadium as Sunshine Queens FC, rooted at the bottom of the table, host Remo Stars Ladies on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023, at 4 pm.

Remo Stars Ladies, currently occupying the 5th position, enter the match with 6 points earned from a balanced record of 1 win, 3 draws, and only 1 loss in the five matches played so far. In their last outing, they secured a convincing 2-0 victory against Edo Queens FC, setting the stage for an intriguing encounter against Sunshine Queens FC.
