Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo Unleashes Surprise Fleet of 11 High-Tech SUVs to Empower Ifelodun LCDA Cabinet!

In a stunning move to elevate local governance, Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, the Executive Chairman of Ifelodun Local Council Development Area, has astounded the political landscape by gifting 11 Highlander SUVs to his cabinet members. The grand presentation, held at the state-of-the-art Babajide Sanwo-olu Council Complex in Amukoko, Lagos, was a spectacle of generosity and forward-thinking leadership.

Mayor Okeowo, exemplifying his commitment to good governance, emphasized that these high-performing vehicles are essential tools for the effective execution of official duties by his cabinet. In a surprising twist, he revealed that he himself has not acquired an official vehicle, putting the needs of his team before his own.

Addressing the elated recipients, Mayor Okeowo declared, "This era champions prioritizing the needs of our officers before personal comfort. Equipping our team with the necessary instruments is crucial for efficient task execution. Maintain these vehicles well, and congratulations!"

Notably, this gesture mirrors a similar provision of branded Highlander Sport Utility Vehicles to all seven legislators, led by the esteemed Hon. Fatima Atinuke Salaudeen. This strategic move enhances oversight functions, yielding tangible results in their duties.

Hon. Alhaji Rasheed Rahamon Lanre, the Secretary to the Local Government, expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the beneficiaries, assuring the chairman that these vehicles would be utilized for their intended purpose.

The grand presentation unfolded amidst the presence of legislators, management staff, CDC executives, dedicated party faithful, and the watchful eyes of the press. Mayor Okeowo's unexpected automotive largesse stands as a testament to his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to transforming Ifelodun LCDA into a beacon of efficient governance."
