Revitalizing Education and Community service: Hon. Batife Daisi's Initiatives in Majidun-Ogolonto

Hon. Batife Daisi, the Deputy Leader of Ikorodu West LCDA and Councillor representing Majidun-Ogolonto ward, expressed profound gratitude to Governor Sanwo-Olu and the Education Board for their intervention in renovating 17 rooms, including classrooms, staff room, and toilets at C&S Primary School 1 in Idi Iroko. This intervention was made possible through Hon. Daisi's request, showcasing effective collaboration and governance.

During his aspirant manifesto, Hon. Batife Daisi pledged to revamp the C&S school and donate a food cafeteria. Last year, he fulfilled this commitment by constructing a cafeteria in honor of the late Baale of Idiroko, Chief Aluko. The cafeteria, inaugurated by Alayeluwa of Ipakodo Kingdom Oba Engr. Bashiru Sotonwa on August 7, 2022, now stands as a testament to Hon. Daisi's dedication to community development.

With the school's renovation nearing completion, credit is attributed to the concerted efforts of Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem Olarenwaju and the unwavering support of the Majidun community. Hon. Daisi extended appreciation to Governor Sanwo-Olu, Dr. Saheed Ibikunle, and the educational board for their prompt response to his requests, noting the crucial role played by Dr. Ibikunle in facilitating the process.

Mrs. Martins Atinuke, Head Teacher of C&S Primary School 1, Idi Iroko, shared her journey and gratitude for recent developments. Since her transfer to the school in August 2017, the building faced challenges, but with the intervention of Hon. Batife, progress has been significant. The ongoing renovation, now at 80% completion, is poised to create a conducive environment for teaching and learning.

Highlighting Hon. Batife's substantial contribution, Mrs. Atinuke emphasized the cafeteria commissioned last year, enhancing the overall experience for students and benefiting food vendors. She expressed hope for continued support from Hon. Batife, acknowledging his pivotal role in positively impacting the school's conditions.

The food vendors at C&S Primary School 1 collectively extended heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Batife Daisi for his pivotal role in constructing the cafeteria. Formerly operating in less-than-ideal conditions, they now have a dedicated space to prepare and serve meals. The vendors recognized the positive impact on their businesses and student experiences, expressing sincere thanks and offering prayers for Hon. Batife's continued success and community-focused endeavors.
