Ikosi Isheri Education-Support Initiative Distributes 500 Free Year 2024 JAMB Examination Forms to Qualified Candidates in Ikosi Isheri LCDA

 










In a bid to empower the youth and promote access to higher education, the Ikosi Isheri Education-Support Initiative, under the leadership of Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, has distributed 500 free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to students in Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

The distribution event, held at the Senator Adebayo Osinowo Hall, witnessed a gathering of esteemed guests, political and community leaders across the LCDA, and most importantly, the enthusiastic young beneficiaries of this initiative.

Mayoress Bada, in her poignant speech, emphasized the pivotal role of education in societal progress. She reiterated the LCDA's commitment to nurturing a culture of learning and growth, ensuring that every child in the community has the opportunity to fulfill their potential.

Since assuming office, the administration has prioritized community-centric programs, with the yearly distribution of Free JAMB/UTME forms being a cornerstone initiative. Mayoress Bada expressed pride in receiving feedback from past beneficiaries of the intervention who have successfully gained admission into various higher institutions, underscoring the tangible impact of such endeavors.

The Mayoress highlighted several administrative achievements in the education sector, including the reconstruction of school infrastructure, provision of educational materials (books, bags, tables, chairs, magnetic board etc) to primary schools, establishment of youth talent club (Mayoress Football Academy), provision of youth skill empowerment training, promotion of secondary and tertiary education through the distribution of examination forms, establishment of ICT center etc.

Addressing the students directly, Mayoress Bada urged them to seize the opportunity presented by the free JAMB forms and pursue their academic aspirations with diligence and determination. She emphasized that education is the key to unlocking a world of possibilities and encouraged the youth to become agents of positive change in their community.

In conclusion, Mayoress Bada reaffirmed the LCDA's unwavering commitment to education and called for collective efforts in creating an environment where every child can thrive and contribute to the community's growth and prosperity.

The distribution of 500 free JAMB forms stands as a testament to Ikosi Isheri LCDA's dedication to empowering its youth and building a brighter future for generations to come.

  Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada was born into the blessed family of the late Alhaji Olatunji Raheem Bada and the late Chief Mrs. Afolakemi Bada (JP) in Odogbolu, Ogun State, on December 28th, 1973.
