In a bid to oversee the progress of the construction of the new modern health facility in Ikosi Isheri, the Mayoress, Princess Samiat Abolanle, paid a visit to the construction site earlier today. The Mayoress was accompanied by key stakeholders and project managers to assess the ongoing developments and discuss the importance of this initiative for the residents of Ikosi Isheri.
The new health facility, touted as a mini-general hospital, boasts several key features aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery and accessibility for the residents. During the visit, Mayoress Abolanle highlighted some of the critical features of the upcoming facility and emphasized its significance to the community, which includes
(a) State-of-the-Art Equipments: The new health facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, ensuring that residents have access to quality healthcare services without the need to travel long distances.
(b) Specialized Departments: it will have some specialized departments including general and maternity ward, pediatrics, general medicine, and emergency care units, radiography, doctor quarters,mother and child unit, catering to the diverse healthcare needs of the community.
(c) Diagnostic Facilities: it will be equipped with modern diagnostic facilities such as X-ray machines, ultrasound, and laboratory services, enabling prompt and accurate diagnosis of medical conditions.
(d) Pharmacy Services: A well-stocked pharmacy will be available on-site, ensuring timely access to essential medications for patients.

She therefore expressed her optimism regarding the timely completion of the project, stating that it is expected to be fully operational within the next eight months.
