Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada

Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada was born into the blessed family of the late Alhaji Olatunji Raheem Bada and the late Chief Mrs. Afolakemi Bada (JP) in Odogbolu, Ogun State, on December 28th, 1973.

She attended Muslim Primary School in Odogbolu, followed by Odogbolu Grammar School, and completed her education at Ajao Estate High School in Anthony Village, Lagos.

She pursued her diploma in Marketing at Ogun State University, now Olabisi Onabanjo University, and later earned her B.Sc. honors in Geography and Planning from Lagos State University, Ojo. Additionally, she obtained a PGD in Social Work in 2012/2013 and later pursued a Master's in Social Work in 2017/2018.

After a brief stint at the Town Planning Office in Kosofe Local Government, she enrolled at Gateway Catering Institute. Her business acumen enabled her to excel in catering and hotel management, leading her to establish Predema Catering and Boutique Services.

Driven by her passion for politics, she became an active member of Alliance for Democracy (AD), which later evolved into Action Congress (AC), then Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), and eventually All Progressives Congress (APC). She served as Vice Chairman of Ikosi Isheri LCDA from 2011, being re-elected in 2017, until her inauguration as Executive Chairman on January 30th, 2020, by the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

Following her victory in the 2021 Local Government Chairmanship Elections in Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, she was inaugurated as the Executive Chairman on July 27th, 2021, by Governor Sanwo-Olu.

Princess Bola Bada was honored as the YEYESEWA of Ilara kingdom by HRH Oba (Dr.) Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, TELADE IV, The Alara of Ilara Kingdom. 

She was also coronated as the Oluomo of Kosofe Land by HRH Oba Samuel Alamu Kehinde Onikosi Edun Arobadi I (The Onikosi of Ikosi, Kosofe land) and the Chairman, Council of Obas and Chiefs of Kosofe Kingdom.

Recently, she was further honored as the Yeye Oge of Ijanikin Kingdom by Alayeluwa Oba Momodu Afolabi Asafa MFR, FNMC, JP, The Aladi Onijanikin of Ijanikin Kingdom.

WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State. She attended Adrao International School in Victoria Island and Federal Home Science PSchool Ikoyi, Lagos respectively. Her Secondary School Education was at Federal Government Girls College Langtang, Plateau State. A graduate of English Language and Literature from the University of Lagos, she also acquired her Masters Degree in International Law and Diplomacy and another Masters Degree in Public Administration all from the University of Lagos. Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara started her career in Property and Facility Management in the Family Business. Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Distributes Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's Food Palliatives to Ikosi Isheri Residents

In a heartening display of solidarity and support, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's food palliatives were distributed to the residents of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) today. The distribution, orchestrated by the Mayoress and her team, exemplifies the Lagos State Government's dedication to alleviating the challenges faced by its citizens during these unprecedented times.
