5th Legislative Team of Ikosi Isheri LCDA Unanimously Endorses Mayoress Bada for Second Term, Cites Remarkable Leadership







Today, the esteemed Legislative Team of Ikosi Isheri LCDA had the honor of endorsing Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada for a well-deserved second term in office. Led by the Council Leader, Honorable Yunusa Kolawole Salami, all seven Councillors of Ikosi Isheri LCDA unanimously supported this endorsement.

The endorsement ceremony, held at the LCDA's headquarters, was a momentous occasion marked by unity and solidarity. The Legislative Team expressed their unwavering confidence in Mayoress Bada's leadership, citing her exemplary dedication to the welfare and development of the LCDA.

In endorsing Mayoress Bada for a second term, the Legislative Team highlighted her remarkable achievements during her tenure, including significant progress in infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and community empowerment programs. They commended her visionary leadership style, which has fostered inclusivity and progress across all sectors of Ikosi Isheri LCDA.

The endorsement capped the unique initiative of parliamentary parley between the executive and Legislative to chart a developmental blueprint for the social and infrastructural development of the community.

The process was initiated by the council Leader, Honorable Yunusa Salami, and the motion for endorsement was moved by the Majority Leader, Honorable Gbadegoke Adekoya, and seconded by Honorable Akinpelu Folashade representing Ward A (Isheri/Olowora).

As the Legislative Team stands firmly behind Mayoress Bada, they affirm their dedication to working collaboratively towards the continued prosperity and advancement of Ikosi Isheri LCDA. With their collective endorsement, Mayoress Bada embarks on her re-election campaign under the banners of #MayorLekansi and #FourPlusFour, symbolizing her unwavering resolve to serve the people for another term.

WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State. She attended Adrao International School in Victoria Island and Federal Home Science PSchool Ikoyi, Lagos respectively. Her Secondary School Education was at Federal Government Girls College Langtang, Plateau State. A graduate of English Language and Literature from the University of Lagos, she also acquired her Masters Degree in International Law and Diplomacy and another Masters Degree in Public Administration all from the University of Lagos. Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Distributes Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's Food Palliatives to Ikosi Isheri Residents

In a heartening display of solidarity and support, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's food palliatives were distributed to the residents of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) today.
