Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Provides Essential Household Needs to the Community for Ramadan Fasting

As a custodian of the people's mandate whose heart is with her community, the Mayoress of Ikosi Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, has strengthened her commitment to supporting her residents during this holy month of Ramadan.

Following the successful rollout of the first and second batches of household needs distribution on Sunday and Monday (yesterday), another set will be distributed today in Ikosi Isheri LCDA.

The primary objective remains unchanged: to provide essential household items to our residents, particularly those observing Ramadan, to alleviate economic burdens and facilitate a meaningful observance of the holy month.

As with previous batches, the distribution process has been carefully planned to ensure fairness and transparency. Essential items, including rice, beans, cooking oil, flour, sugar, dates, milk, tea leaves, spaghetti, and more, have been procured through partnerships with local vendors and suppliers, with the objective of reaching every household in need within the LCDA.

The distribution efforts target a wide range of communities within Ikosi Isheri LCDA, including religious congregations, market traders, artisans, vulnerable households, and various community-based organizations.

The distribution of Ramadan fasting household needs has thus far been met with gratitude and appreciation from our residents. Feedback from beneficiaries indicates that these provisions have eased financial strain and allowed families to observe Ramadan with peace of mind and dignity.

Therefore, she reaffirms her commitment to the welfare and well-being of the residents. Through collaboration with community leaders and organizations, we strive to ensure that assistance reaches those who need it most. Together, we demonstrate the power of unity and compassion in building a stronger, more resilient community.

Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State.
