Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Empowers Over 300 Students with Free GCE Forms






Today, Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada took a significant step to support the youth of Ikosi-Isheri by distributing free General Certificate of Education (GCE) forms to over 300 students at the Senator Bayo Osinowo Hall, Council Secretariat, Ikosi.

In her interview, the Mayoress emphasized, "Education is the bedrock of a prosperous society. By offering these free GCE forms, we’re ensuring that no child is left behind due to financial hardship. Our future depends on these young minds."

The event was attended by key officials, including Deputy Mayor Hon. Olayinka Ogunleye, Leader of the Council Hon. Yunusa Kolawole Salami, and others, reflecting the leadership's unity.

Beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude. Ayomide, a student, said, "I never thought I could afford the GCE this year. The Mayoress has given me a chance to pursue my dreams." Another student, Kemi, shared, "This form is more than just a piece of paper—it’s a lifeline. I can now hope for a better future."

This initiative highlights Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada's ongoing dedication to the welfare of her community, as  she usually say

  Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada was born into the blessed family of the late Alhaji Olatunji Raheem Bada and the late Chief Mrs. Afolakemi Bada (JP) in Odogbolu, Ogun State, on December 28th, 1973. She attended Muslim Primary School in Odogbolu, followed by Odogbolu Grammar School, and completed her education at Ajao Estate High School in Anthony Village, Lagos. Charity Twumasi Ankrah in an interview with KMJ on Prime Morning Tuesday explained that breast-sucking is a major way to help curb breast cancer in women. According to her, it is very important for a woman’s breasts to be sucked as it keeps the breast healthier. “Breastfeeding your baby is very important as a woman.
