Christmas: Senator Tokunbo Abiru Felicitates Christians; Calls for Unity, Tolerance and Peaceful Co-Existence







The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, has extended heartfelt greetings to Christians and all Nigerians on the joyous occasion of Christmas.

In his goodwill message, Senator Abiru urged Christians to reflect the virtues of Jesus Christ, including tolerance, love, and sacrifice. He emphasized that this period presents a unique opportunity to strengthen national unity and peaceful co-existence, encouraging Christians to take the lead in promoting harmony and understanding among all Nigerians.

Addressing the current economic challenges facing the nation, the Senator called on Nigerians to demonstrate patience and understanding with the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

 He explained that crucial economic measures, such as the removal of petrol subsidies, unification of foreign exchange rates, and tax reforms, are essential steps to rescue the nation from economic peril and ensure sustainable growth.

He remarked, “I celebrate with the esteemed constituents of Lagos East, Lagos State, and indeed all Nigerians as we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.

“I urge Christian faithful to embody the teachings of Jesus Christ, which emphasize sacrifice, nation-building, peaceful co-existence, and unity. I deeply empathize with the struggles of my fellow compatriots during this difficult economic period, but I am confident that relief and prosperity are on the horizon as the benefits of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s courageous economic reforms begin to materialize.

Charity Twumasi Ankrah in an interview with KMJ on Prime Morning Tuesday explained that breast-sucking is a major way to help curb breast cancer in women.
