TAT TAKES THE FLAG, TAKES THE MOMENT: APC EJIGBO RALLIES BEHIND ITS CHAMPION

 


Ejigbo, Lagos — June 13, 2025

The heart of Ejigbo throbbed with fresh political energy as Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT) stepped forward at the APC Secretariat on Anu Oluwapo Street, flag in hand, destiny in sight. The flag presentation ceremony was not just a party ritual — it was the unveiling of a candidate the APC has entrusted to drive its vision of grassroots transformation.

In a rare display of unity and purpose, APC faithful, community leaders, and supporters flooded the venue, reaffirming their commitment to TAT’s project. His speech — fiery yet measured — captured the hunger for change in Ejigbo LCDA. He promised action where others offered excuses, inclusion where others sowed division.

"This flag is not just cloth and colors,"TAT declared. "It is a covenant with the people of Ejigbo. Together, we will rewrite the story of this LCDA."

Surrounding him was the full squad of APC candidates, each representing a critical pillar of the party’s local structure:

Hon. Mrs. Abimbola Nicholas Ike — Vice Chairmanship Candidate

Hon. Akeem Araokanmi — Ifoshi Ward

Hon. Muritala Olabisi — Oke Afa Ward

Hon. Fatai Bello — Fadu Ward

Hon. Shobande Gabriel — Ilamoshe Ward

Hon. Ifatunmise Adedoyin — Ailegun Ward

Alhaji Fatai Kasumu, APC Chairman in Ejigbo LCDA, summed up the mood: “TAT is not just our candidate. He is our symbol ofp renewal, our path to victory. We move as one APC family.”

As flags were handed over, Ejigbo witnessed more than a ceremony — it witnessed a movement gaining steam. For TAT and his team, July 12 is not just an election date; it is the day they plan to prove that Ejigbo’s future lies with the APC.

WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State. She attended Adrao International School in Victoria Island and Federal Home Science PSchool Ikoyi, Lagos respectively.
