The movement, Tompolo 1 Million Youth for the Re-election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially launched its nationwide solidarity movement, uniting energetic and patriotic youth from all corners of Nigeria in support of President Tinubu’s second term. With High Chief Oweizidei Thomas Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo) serving as the Grand Patron, this youth-driven initiative is rooted in a legacy of bold leadership and national service. The movement aims to mobilize one million young Nigerians who strongly believe in President Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda, a vision built on economic reform, infrastructure development, and progressive governance.
Under the capable leadership of National Coordinator, Hon. Saturday David, and the ever dedicated Lagos State Coordinator, Hon. Tonye Iworibo, the movement is gaining momentum across the country with the slogan "for Tompolo, Yes we Move". In a historic step forward, the Lagos State chapter held its first maiden inaugural meeting of state executives, coordinators, and all other position holders. This marks a new chapter of strategic planning, unity, and action as Lagos takes its place at the forefront of the youth mobilization effort.
While interviewing Hon. Tonye Iworibo he assured the youth of Lagos State of purposeful leadership, inclusiveness, and empowerment within the movement. He encouraged young people across the state to take ownership of this opportunity, reminding them that their voices and energy are vital in shaping the future of Nigeria under the continued leadership of President Tinubu. “This is our time to stand for progress,” he said, “and together, we will make history.”
We call on all state and local government representatives of the movement, youth leaders, and stakeholders in Lagos to attend and contribute to this landmark gathering. Together, we will drive the vision of continuity and prosperity forward. Tompolo 1 Million Youth is not just a movement it is the engine of a greater Nigeria.
