Abiru Delivers New Classrooms, Fully Equipped Primary Health Centres In Epe Communities

The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial district, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA has handed over three major projects to residents of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) and Eredo LCDA, under Epe division. Also, twelve (12) completed motorized boreholes were also unveiled for the benefit of  constituents.

The projects include a renovated and equipped Ado-Ikosi Primary Health Centre, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, a newly constructed and equipped Primary Health Centre at Kula Nla, Odomola (Eredo LCDA), and a fully furnished block of classrooms at RCM Primary School, Ejinrin.

Senator Abiru, who was represented by his Special Assistant,  Mr. Dele Abiru and the Executive director, Customer Centricity & Marketing, Galaxy Backbone Limited, Hon. Olusegun Olulade (Eleniyan), assured the people of the communities, and other residents of Lagos East district of Senator Abiru’s commitment to their welfare, through deliberate investment in education and healthcare, which are vital pillars of sustainable community development.

“At Ado-Ikosi and Kula-Nla, residents now have better access to quality healthcare, while at Ejinrin, pupils can learn in a more conducive environment,” Abiru said. 

The commissioning ceremonies were performed on behalf of the lawmaker by Hon. Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, and Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA. They both commended the Senator’s consistent efforts to bring development to the grassroots.

On behalf of the government and good people of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, we extend profound gratitude and reaffirm our continued partnership for greater progress,”

“Senator Abiru’s representation continues to reflect excellence, compassion, and foresight. From the facilitation of two blocks of three classrooms at Itoikin, to the provision of solar-powered boreholes and other social empowerment initiatives, our communities have consistently felt the impact of his leadership”, Hon Alomo said.

Similarly, pupils and teachers of  Roman Catholic Mission (RCM) Primary School, Ejinrin, celebrated the new block of classrooms, describing it as a “dream come true”, which will impact positively on teaching and learning outcomes.

The Education Secretary,  Local Government Education Authority, Epe, Hon. Shittu Aliu Idowu, extended the goodwill message of the Chairman, Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB), Dr. Hakeem Shittu, appreciating the Senator for his immense contributions to the growth of the education sector in Lagos East. 

Similarly, at the newly built and fully equipped Primary Health Centre, Kula Nla, Odomola, Eredo LCDA, residents expressed joy, describing the project as timely and life-saving. The monarch of Odomola, HRM Oba Sulaimon Adebowale, The Omola of Odomola, expressed profound gratitude to Senator Abiru for the major health project.

The Executive Chairman, Eredo LCDA, Hon Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, hailed Senator Abiru’s exceptional leadership style which ensures that all local governments under his watch feel the touch of his representation. 

Since his election to the Senate, Senator Abiru has facilitated multiple community projects across Lagos East, spanning education, healthcare, sports centres, youth and women empowerment.  The lawmaker’s Doing Good mantra, anchored on inclusive development, has endeared him to the people as a compassionate and results-oriented leader.

Locations of completed motorized boreholes across the district are: Olufunke Street Junction, Majidun, 116, Ajaguro Road Imota, Lagos,  6 Arobadade street Ilaje, Liadi Village, Dawodu Street off Basorun Street Igbogbo, Igbe-Ogunro Palace, Besides Deditex Petrol Station, Along Ikorodu Itoikin Rd, Agbowa Ikosi, Ita Agbodo Community Isele 1, Federal Govt Estate (Sedona) Opposite Fashola Estate Baiyeku, Oreta last bus stop, Igbogbo, Main Gate, Igbo-Oluwo Estate and Fajemisin Street, off Kokoro Abu, Sabo Ikorodu.

Dignitaries at the events include: High Chief Alli Yesiru, Olisa of Odomola, High Chief Tajudeen Lawal, Aro of Odomola, High Chief Adisa Adepase, the Agbon of Odomola, the Oloritun in Council, Vice chairman, Eredo LCDA, Hon. Abdulateef Adesanya, Media Aide to Senator Abiru, Mr. Enitan Olukotun, Chief Adesina Idris Adesanya, Baale, Ado Ikosi, Mr. Raji Adedeji, Dr. Sunday Orebiyi, Medical Officer of Health, Ikosi Ejinrin LCDA, Senator’s Legislative Assistant, Ms Comfort Olafare, Senator’s office Epe Liaison representative, Mr. Mahruf Odunare, Party chieftains, leadership and members of the East Consultative Forum, in Ikosi Ejinrin and Eredo LCDAs respectively.
