ASSOCIATION OF HOTELIERS IN LAGOS DECLARES SUPPORT FOR ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU AND GOVERNOR BABAJIDE OLUSOLA SANWO-OLU

 

In Preparation toward the 2023 general election, the lagos State Chapter of the Association of Hoteliers


today declared their support for the presidential bid of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the re-election of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu in the coming general elections. 


This declaration was made in a well-attended event on the ground of the Independent Campaign council on 58/60 Oduduwa Crescent GRA, Ikeja today the 18th January, 2023.


The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State who also doubles as the Director General of the ICC acknowledged the receipt of the association's 11-points request. He assured the Association that the ICC will make sure their request is granted. 


He noted that the current Government ably led by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu will continue to create enabling environment for all business interest including the hospitality and tourism sector. 


He went further to inform the gathering that President Muhammed Buhari will be visiting Lagos State before the end of the month to commission Lekki Deep Sea Port, The Imota Rice Mill, the Blue Line Rail (Phase 1), He says Mr Governor has achieved these because of his ability to engineer a robust system for the state.


Mr. Tayo Ayinde also told the gathering that the wonders that are seeing in Lagos are attributed to the visionary of our generation, the man Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He said this is why all of us should get our PVCs and vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and for the re-election of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.


On his part the president of the association in Lagos State, Chief Oluomo Jamiu Talabi noted that the members of the association, though non-partisan, are supporting the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s mandate as well as the re-election bid of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu in the coming elections. He noted that the hoteliers in the association are the small and medium scale hoteliers in Lagos state.


The highlights of the event were the submission of the speech of the president of Hoteliers, presentation of caps produced by the Hoteliers and the association membership form to the Director General of the Independent Campaign Council.


The event was organized under the supervision of Hon. M.M Lawal, the director of Tradesmen and Artisans Directorate, In the roll call of the leadership of the Association of Hoteliers were Chief Oluomo Jamiu Talabi the president of the association, Chief Popoola the second vice president and Prince Robert Obie the General Secretary among others.

WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State. She attended Adrao International School in Victoria Island and Federal Home Science PSchool Ikoyi, Lagos respectively. Her Secondary School Education was at Federal Government Girls College Langtang, Plateau State.
